Suara.com - Kabar gembira bagi para penggemar Linkin Park, grup musik rok Amerika asal Agoura Hills, California ini akan menggelar konser di Jakarta pada 16 Februari 2025. Sepeninggalan Chester Bennington, diketahui Linkin Park telah berganti vokalis. Lantas siapa vokalis Linkin Park yang baru?
Linkin Park akan mengguncang Jakarta dalam konser bertajuk "From Zero World Tour" di Stadion Madya Gelora Bung Karno. Konser ini merupakan penampilan pertama mereka di Indonesia sejak tahun 2011 lalu. Tentu, konser Linkin Park di Jakarta menjadi momen yang sangat dinanti-nanti oleh para penggemar mereka.
Konser ini sekaligus menjadi debut perdana Emily Armstrong sebagai vokalis Linkin Park yang baru di Indonesia, menggantikan mendiang Chester Bennington yang meninggal pada tahun 2017.
Emily Armstrong adalah penyanyi dan penulis lagu Amerika Serikat yang dibesarkan di Los Angeles dan sudah berkarier sebagai musisi sejak belia. Sebelum bergabung dengan Linkin Park, Emily dikenal sebagai vokalis band Dead Sara.

Merujuk dari berbagai sumber, alasan Linkin Park menunjuk Emily Amstrong sebagai vokalis diungkap oleh salh satu personelnya, yakni Mike Shinoda. Ia menilai karakter dari suara Emily Armstrong cocok untuk membawakan lagu-lagu Linkin Park.
Pernyataan resmi Amstrong gabung di Linkin Park diumumkan ketika band rock itu menggelar konser live streaming melalui situs resmi mereka Kamis (5/9/2024) lalu. Seiring dengan pengumuman vokalis baru, band itu juga menunjuk Colin Brittain sebagai drummer.
Tak berselang lama setelah pengumuman personel baru, kemudian dilanjut dengan perilisan single terbaru Linkin Park berjudul The Emptiness Machine. Single terbaru itu menjadi rilisan perdana Linkin Park dengan formasi baru.
Menjelang konser di Jakarta, Linkin Park pun membuat promosi dengan membagikan tahu bulat di berbagai penjuru ibu kota. Bahkan band ini menyewa truk tahu bulat yang biasanya berjualan keliling.

Berdasarkan setlist lagu saat tampil di Mexico City pada 31 Januari 2025, sejumlah lagu hits Linkin Park dipastikan akan mengisi daftar putar ketika konser di Jakarta nanti.
