Sederet nama beken mengisi daftar calon pemenang, salah satunya Jake Gylenhall yang digadang-gadang bakal menyabet piala aktor terbaik. Sebelumnya, Gylenhall dinobatkan sebagai Best Actor di ajang SAG lewat film Nightcrawler.
